NETHER WALLOP
Following an extensive planning process, we were pleased to secure planning permission for the development of two new dwellings in a rural setting. In collaboration with Atlas Planning, we successfully achieved consent for two contemporary residential units on the site of an existing low-quality bungalow and an agricultural barn, both located within the village settlement boundary.
The larger, modern dwelling will serve as a new family home for our client, while the single-storey dwelling—developed following the removal of a redundant barn—will be offered on the commercial market. Through a subsequent planning application, we also obtained approval for a new dedicated driveway access from the road to the larger property.

Design Intent
The design of the dwellings, while contemporary, remains respectful of the local character and represents a significant improvement over the existing buildings they will replace.
The smaller plot features a single-storey home with three bedrooms and an open-plan family and living area. Its design takes inspiration from the barn it replaces and is positioned on the original footprint. This dwelling is currently under construction and will be sold on the open market.
The larger plot, intended for our client, will accommodate a modern five-bedroom home with a spacious open-plan ground floor designed for entertaining and taking advantage of south-facing views.
A subsequent approved planning application for a new driveway ensures that both dwellings benefit from separate access and privacy within their generous plots
