Architectural Lifespan

Architecture is often judged at the moment of completion, but for us, that is only the beginning of a building’s story. Returning to a project after occupation provides an invaluable opportunity to observe how it has settled into daily life, how people move through and experience the spaces, and how the design responds over time. These moments of reflection allow us to learn from what has been built, deepening our understanding of the relationship between design intention and lived experience.

This project is a reminder that the most enduring architecture is often that which feels inseparable from its setting. Rather than imposing itself upon the landscape, the building seeks to belong to it—nestling into the contours of the site and opening itself to the changing rhythms of the natural environment. As seasons shift and light moves across the landscape, the connection between architecture and nature becomes part of everyday life, creating a place that feels grounded, calm and deeply rooted in its surroundings
