7 self build dwellings
A Technical Details Planning Application has been submitted for 7 new self - build dwellings following approval of a ‘planning in principle’ application for a site within Basingstoke & Deane Council. Architectural Lifespan
Architecture is often judged at the moment of completion, but for us, that is only the beginning of a building’s story. Returning to a project after occupation provides an invaluable opportunity to observe how it has settled into daily life, how people move through and experience the spaces, and how the design responds over time. These moments of reflection allow us to learn from what has been built, deepening our understanding of the relationship between design intention and

Hillside Planning
Sneak peek of a new build dwelling we’ve been working on with a private client over the last 7 months in the South Downs National Park. Following a positive pre-app we are now in a position to submit a full planning application for this contemporary, and upside down dwelling. The project will be highly sustainable with exceptional thermal design and the inclusion of a large number of PV panels, Air Source Heat Pump and MVHR. Devon New Build
Nestled in semi-rural Devon, we have been working closely with a young family to create their new forever home. The site is located along a small stream with vegetated boundaries and offers an excellent location for privacy yet with great links to the local town and amenities. The designs for this new home were originally based upon a timber frame companies’ layouts, however, these have been heavily adapted subsequently leading to a bespoke design throughout stage 2 and 3 to

Project Milestone
We’re proud to share that we’ve been appointed on our 20th project, just five and a half months after establishing our practice. This milestone reflects the trust our clients have placed in us and the momentum we’ve built in a short time. Thank you to all of the clients and consultants who have recommended us during this period, we feel fortunate to be so busy in times of an unsettled economy. We’ve been a bit too busy to post updates on current projects but we hope to do s

Don't Move, Improve
Sometimes the most sustainable approach isn’t to demolish and rebuild, but to adapt what’s already there. This project is a perfect example—the house had a generous footprint and solid structural design, but lacked an effective layout, cohesive aesthetic, and a strong connection to the garden and surrounding views. Swipe to see the transformation. Architect: @evoke_architects Co-designer / interior designer: @susiegreenwoodinteriors

Class Q
Allows for the conversion of agricultural buildings into residential dwellings without the need for full planning permission. We have extensive experience of taking this process even further with multiple approvals for new build dwellings of a different scale and style post Class Q approval. This project is an example of this, set in Wiltshire. Architect: @evoke_architects Planning Consultant: @atlasplanning Landscape Design: @indigolandscape.co.uk
