An extension, to replace a traditional conservatory, to a former farmhouse with already many extended parts all with differing architectural 'merits' is not easy. Abi worked with us on the extension and refurbishment of a coastal property in Cornwall. The site was challenging with lots of retaining walls and levels to consider. Abi initially visited us in person to get a feel for the property and over the following weeks provided several options from which we eventually chose. She was very efficient and kept us up to date throughout the process. When we came across issues, they were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Abi has been the Architect on 2 residential projects for us in the last 7 years and came highly recommended, a recommendation she fully lived up to.

These were challenging projects impacted by a Grade II listed status, taking a long time to get through, one taking over 18 months from the starting through to building Regs approval.  She was so calm, patient and professional with the planners, even when they turned everything on its head 8 months in. Her knowledge and attention to detail was excellent and she had a great network for finding out technical information and suppliers who could assist us.  We are hoping we have done everything now to our forever home but, if we do have to have any other work done that needs drawings/planning, we would not think twice about using Abi’s services as an architect again.

We are really glad we choose Abi as our architect, she listened to our ideas, which included what materials we wanted to use in our extension. She then incorporated them with some of her own great ideas and came up with a lovely design, we tweaked a few things and then left it to Abi to see it through the planning application. It was all a very smooth process. Abi was very professional at all times and also very patient with us especially when answering all of the questions we had.
